This one took me about 11 hours altogether. I am very proud of this one because i added more detail to it and i made a good background! This is one of my original characters, Cain. I will be drawing more of him soon. :D

Wow, this was done with a mouse? This is really nice. I'd probably suggest a few things that won't require the mouse other than to "select" out areas.

Based on the lighting of the picture, her front areas should be slightly darker and shadowed versus her back. You might be able to put in another layer and "multiple"{ or use "soft light" or "hard light" and put in some grey to do that.

ALso, you might want to smooth out the sky part of your background? You can select the area you have for sky and use "soften" or smudge.

Nice metal textures though. It looks shiny and metallic.

never mind on the lighting. It's coming from the right, correct? In that case, it looks correct, although overall, I might have put the values a bit darker since it appears this is late afternoon?

pssstt *he :giggle: i need to work on my guys xD yea i was considering making his face darker but it's become a habit to make the face plain and light. I need to break that habit. x_x

the background, i left it alone because i'm not too good with coloring. ya the sky should have been smoothed out. thx! :hug:

thank you very much! i aprreciate it! i have done all my deviations with mouse and i hope to get a tablet soon! Thank you very much for all your advice. maybe i will be as great as you are someday (when im like 50 or something :( ^.^

yes it is coming from the right ^.^ but i should have made the left of his face darker. the sun is setting, so yea i should have used darker colors. thx so much again! :hug:

No problem. I'm so impressed you did this with amouse. It requires so much patience! And you know, improvement comes fast if you are willing to do drawing regularly. I have improved a lot in the last two years, although I still have a ways to go too.
